There was a good movement of gulls migrating eastward.  Unfortunately it was
a snaking movement that often went behind me where the birds were not
visible so there was probably more white-winged gulls passing by.  My count
only includes the birds that passed in front of me.  If you are looking for
a number of total birds including those that passed behind, you can probably
triple what I placed here.  There were a few small areas of open water that
attracted some waterfowl.  It was interesting to watch the common goldeneye
and mergs courting.

At the feeders I had about 40 pine siskins, including one green morph and a
single common redpoll.  There were also a few white-winged crossbills high
in the Douglas-fir tree west of the house.
