Despite a 40 degree drop in temperature from just two days ago, the signs of Spring are still increasing. At Highbanks Metro Park in Columbus tonight, I had two Blue-winged Teal on the wetlands pond. There were also a small number of other ducks including:

Green-winged Teal 2
Wood Duck - 12 so they are arriving in good numbers
Mallard Many
Northern Shoveler 2
Ring-necked Duck 8
Bufflehead 2
Common Goldeneye 1
Hooded Merganser 8
Gadwall 2

I did not see any early wildflowers but the ramps have sprouted in several areas.
