I stopped by Summit Lake just before sunset... I was finishing a loop of 7
lakes southwest of Akron, with somewhat disappointing results. But I had an
interesting bird at Summit Lake... a meadowlark in the soccer field by the
elementary school on the west shore. I don't believe I've ever seen a
meadowlark in the city limits before! It didn't want to share the field with
me and the dog, so it flew off to the southeast across the lake.
