My wife called me on her way towards Marion and said that an Eagle was just outside of La Rue milling about. It was above a catfish pond so I assume it was looking for lunch.

She said "I thought that it was only a vulture until it turned and I saw it's head..pure white." So the Eagles are off the reservation so to speak. :-D
There has been too much to do around the house for me to get out...mostly camera repair and tuning.

Got a few new ones on my photobucket site: http://s153.photobucket.com/albums/s226/sjlarue/Birds/. Including a really good dove shot from over at Blendon Woods as well as some drive by birding of a horned lark and a GBH.

Happy Birding and God Bless

Psalm 103:4-6

4 who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
 6 The LORD works righteousness
and justice for all the oppressed.
