The American White Pelican was still present at Hoover Reservoir as of 2:30
PM today (Friday). Its last location was along the west shore between Areas
I (just north of Lewis Center Road) and K (Wiese Road). It seems to be
contently feasting on gizzard shad and their friends. It likely wandered from the
area of the boardwalk due to the presence of fishermen but will hopefully go
back to where it can be seen clearly from a close distance.
