Ottawa NWR auto tour -

Greater Yellowlegs 1
Pectoral Sandpiper 2
Common Snipe 16

The yellowlegs and pecs occupied a flooded field at the tour's end - visible anytime from Veler Rd - 200 Green-winged Teal and 40 Northern Pintail were here, too.

Rt. 2, just west of Magee Marsh WA -

Pectoral Sandpiper 1
DUNLIN 1

And perhaps most amazingly, Emil Bacik and I counted 900 Rusty Blackbirds on roads south of Magee Marsh and Ottawa. Rustys were the dominant blackbird species in most flocks, though, despite valiant efforts, we detected no Brewer's.

Good birding -
Gabe Leidy
Cleveland
