Hi everyone,

Just a reminder that the annual Sound Recording Workshop offered by the
Cornell Lab of Ornithology is not too far off. The next session takes place
June 6-13 at San Francisco State University's Sierra Nevada Field Campus.
The workshop is taught by recordists on the Lab's Macaulay Library staff
and is appropriate for anyone with an interest in recording wildlife
sounds--you'll get plenty of guidance, even if you've never recorded a bird
before.

There are daily field recording sessions, plus lectures and demonstrations,
and an introduction to sound analysis software. A $100 deposit is requested
to reserve a space in the workshop, which is limited to 20 students.
Registration and down payment are due by April 10. Learn more at:
To register or get more information, contact Nancy Schrempf at (607)

Something new to try this year to expand your skills!
Best wishes,
Pat
