Just had a quick morning walk @ 8am from Lost Nation Rd entrance of Chagrin
River Park. Between the parking area /swamp and walking back toward the
meadow several Eastern Towhee Males, one female and two juveniles were
observed.
The song is the first thing that I heard and the repeats from the others.
They were not social and seemed to avoid busy areas.

Eastern Blue birds were working there territory as well in the open meadow
and at the Rural Rd entrance to the park.

Also a Coopers Hawk was building a nest about 50 ft up just to the left of
the bathrooms and back about 50 ft. Tearing vines and breaking small twigs
and carrying each to the nest. It was a good birding day!
Now if the screaming children and barking dogs would Migrate on to Canada we
all could find more in the woods...
