Sharon's bird needs to IM our first ever yard bird male Eastern
Towhee that spent the day in our backyard.  I first saw what I
thought was a very dark Robin in our small lilac bushes.  Closer
inspection provided a correct identification.  It boldly "chicken-
scratched" under our hanging feeder outside the window, and didn't
spook like the goldfinches on the sock feeder when we stood at the
window 2 feet away to watch.  I hope it does stick around!
