There was a Red-throated Loon at the lake at Caesar Creek this afternoon. It was viewed from the North Pool boat ramp in the pool of water between the boat ramp and Harveysburg Road. It appeared to be an immature bird with a darker face than the Buck Creek bird. It was obviously smaller than the few Common Loons present and consistently held its bill at a slight upward angle.

There were also a couple immature gulls that were larger than the Ring-bills that were right next to them, but appeared smaller than the adult Herring gulls that were a bit more distant.
