Yesterday there were 3 Merlin at the cemetery. 2 females and a male.
Section 85 had the female and male in the same tree and in section 92 the
other female.
A first for me in the many years I have been observing the Merlin at the
cemetery, was that the section 85 female landed on a headstone. I have observed
them on the marker posts before but never on a headstone!
This evening I was able to observe the section 85 female reduce the local
House Sparrow population by another one. That's 2 for the week! The section 92
female was observed also.
The I 480 bridge Peregrine Falcon pair were on the billboards on the
southeast side of the bridge this afternoon. Have been seeing them out on the
billboards at 6:30 AM also.
