After the fact, I decided to post this unusual report I received yesterday morning at about 7:15AM. I had a call from a project engineer on a jobsite in Morrow County about a Black Swan that was on the ground in the median of Interstate 71 at mile marker 155. The description of the bird was: all black body, extremely long neck, orangish bill, and white on the ends of the wings when in flight. The reportee approached the bird to see if it was injured and it immediately took off flying southwest, and in the direction of Columbus. I was told it was quite a sight to see this massive bird in flight. Keep an eye out for this out of the ordinary visitor.
