Stopped by Wyoga Lake (Stow/Cuyahoga Falls) on my lunch break today. Large rafts of ducks on the far side, some too far out to I.D. with binocs. Was able to separate:
1. Canada Goose - 6
2. Northern Shoveler - 4 (2m,2f)
3. Mallard - 5 (4m,1f)
4. Scaup species - about 20
5. Bufflehead - about 60
also:
6. Great Blue Heron - 1
7. Pied-billed Grebe - 4
8. Turkey Vulture - 1
9. Red-tailed Hawk - 1
10. Ring-billed Gull - 1
Douglas W. Vogus - Akron, Ohio.
