I have been having trouble posting. My e-mails keep bouncing back. I'll try
to send this from the link on the OOS website.

Sunday brought a welcome visitor. A yellow throated warbler landed on the
bird netting attached to our French door glass. What a great view of that
yellow throat.
The feeders also brought in a pair of purple finches. Today there were 3
males here.
I made a quick late day run around the trails (around 4pm) and saw several
golden crowned kinglets, the yellow throated warbler again, phoebes, song
sparrows, red shouldered hawk, hermit thrush, the Louisiana waterthrush and
heard a barred owl and Cooper's hawk,
Today with the cold front in full force the feeders are busy with 40+
goldfinches and a dozen or so pine siskins. Still a couple of Juncos and of
course all the regulars (Cardinals, titmice, chickadees, downy woodpeckers,
mourning doves, white breasted nuthatch and Carolina wren).
It will be interesting to see who is around after the next couple of cold
days here.
