Greetings all good birders.
Headed to Mercer Co., this morning for a chance at the Smith's
Longspurs. Not as cooperative as I would have liked as they stayed on
the north side of the road for the greater part of my relatively brief
visit (10-10:30).
But there was a nice flock of American Golden Plovers (30+) just down
the road a bit near where Jordan Rd. meets Manley (about a half mile
east of the longspur hangout?).
Good birding to all.
