Sunday afternoon I spent 2 hrs hawk watching. I was close to Overton just
west of Wooster Oh. How suprised I was by kettle after kettle of
Broad-winged hawks. Before the rain started I counted 52 Broad wings . But
the best thing was 20 White-wing Crossbills that happened by. They flew over
due north about 2;30pm circled a couple times calling and chattering all the
while. Then continued on
north.
