Mystery Owl (up high in a nest, bad light, short lens.....)

Also, when attempting to get at eye level to photo of a snake, a flurry of
red-breasted nuthatches descended. Not sure how many there were, I was so
distracted. More than 2 anyway. They left just as quickly as they arrived.
Only a few photos.

noted one swamp sparrow as well
