I had the Mountain Bluebird in the usual spot at around 12:00 to 12:30 this afternoon.  We then went to the nature center and had Pine Siskin, Purple Finch, and Pine Warbler at the feeders.  Another excellent find was a singing White-winged Crossbill in one of the evergreen stands of the Ridge Trail.  Most of this trail turned out to be closed and/or flooded out, but the bird is in the area and it may be worth keeping an eye out for these birds possibly breeding in the area this summer.

Good Birding!
