Congratulations Ohio birders. Citizen Science is thriving in the Buckeye
State.

Ohio ranked number one among states for new effort to find and record Rusty
Blackbirds during the Rusty Backbird Hotspot Blitz during February. Your
sighting reports via this Ohio Birds Listserv have increasd. Consider
entering your obervations in eBird regularly, too.

More importantly, you have heled to demnstrate Ohio's importance as a
wintering area for Rusty Blackbirds.

Thanks to Bill for sharing the research link. Additional analysis will be
posted. I'm sure there will be a 2010 blitz, too.

Don't forget the Ohio Beeding Bird Atlas!
