Birders,

Hearing about good things around the state, around the Cleveland
Metroparks', Mill Stream Reservation in Berea, the Golden-crowned Kinglets
and Myrtle (Yellow-rumped) Warblers are around in good numbers on Wednesday,
April 15. A few Ruby-crowned Kinglets are being seen and heard. Fox
Sparrows are easy to find in the appropriate habitats, edges of
forests/brushy areas. One of the better sightings was an Osprey at Wallace
Lake. The bird hovered briefly before plunging to catch a nice sized fish.
Don't know if the fishermen along the lake saw it and were envious. At
least the Osprey does not leave monofilament fishing line and plastic worm
containers for others to pick up - grrrr.
