We all know the Doctrine of Bad Weather but there was a nice movement Friday which seemed to fall outside of that pattern. Unfortunately, a very quick look at Springfield this morning did not reveal the red-throated loon.

Friday, 17 April

Nimisila Reservoir: 176 buffleheads, 112 ruddy ducks, Forster's tern

Springfield Lake: 108 buffleheads, basic RED-THROATED LOON, alt common loon, 24 Bonaparte's gulls

Summit Lake: 22 buffleheads, three Forster's terns, ruby-crowned kinglet

Turkeyfoot Lake: 116 buffleheads, six common loons (5 alt, 1 basic), GREEN HERON, purple martins

Peace,

Gregory Bennett
Akron OH

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
John 1:1-5
