Sorry for getting this out a little later than I wanted to – I’ve been spending too much time on the gull photos... In a bout of wanderlust, I hit Englewood MP and then decided to head up to Grand Lake St. Mary’s to see what was going on up there.

Englewood (8:15a – 9a)
----
Great Egret (FOS for me) – stopped in for about 5 minutes, then took off due north.
Northern Shoveler (8-10)
Blue-winged Teal (8-10)
Mallard (4-5)
C. Geese (10)
GB Heron (7)
Kildeer (5-6)

Then my attention span waned, and I drove up to Celina…
---
Bonaparte’s Gulls (breeding plumage and molting…) (6) (although if it weren’t for the eye-ring, I would have *sworn* they were Little Gulls based on leg color and head
Herring Gulls (7-8)
DC Cormorants (15)
