Hi all,

Spent a cool wet morning in and around the Shawnee Lookout Park in Hamilton
County, and noted House Wren, Yellow-throated Vireo, and Scarlet Tanager -
all first of the year for me. Northern Parula and Yellow-throated Warbler
were commonplace, and noted a few Louisiana Waterthrushes, and scads of
Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, among other things. A bonus was a huge stand of the
rare (for Ohio) Prairie Wakerobin in peak bloom - a life trillium.
