Today after returning home from church I was thrilled to see 11 Purple Finch, a male Towhee, and 2 Pine Siskins feeding on black oil sunflower seeds under my feeders here in northern Wyandot Co.

Plenty of Lapland Longspurs around this part of the county but I feel that I'm too far east for Smith's Longspurs. None of the corn stubble fields that I've checked contain foxtail either.
