Hi Everyone,

I scouted out Shawnee Saturday and Sunday.  There were 55 species.  Next weekend should be great there.  It's so peaceful there.  I didn't come a cross any other birders.

Highlights:

Green Heron (1)
Prairie warbler (1)
L. Waterthrush--many singing
Overbirds (3)
Pine warblers (3)
Yellow-throated warblers (couldn't count them all)
American Redstart (1)
Whip-poor-wills (3)
Woodthrush - seemed like they came in Saturday night
Turkey (2)  male displaying, luckily the hunters missed them
