Depressing rainy day until I looked outside while sipping my morning coffee. I checked our yard list; this is a first. We have kept a yard list since 1989. No Pine Warbler, until today. We had 6 Purple Finches , 10 Pine Siskins, 2 Chipping Sparrows, 2 Towhees, 3 White-throated sparrows and 1 Pine Warbler!. Just can't pull myself away from the window. The white-throats singing is what woke me up this AM. Makes up for the rainy day.

Sally Isacco, Chardon
