Wow, I just realized I didn't included the location! The Ruff was seen on Stange Road approximately a half mile south of Route 2. This is near the large power lines that cross Stange Road. It was never relocated.

Sorry about that.

Hi all,

I received a call from Phil Chaon who just found an adult male Ruff that is molting into its breeding plumage. It was mixed in with ~1,000 Pectorals but took flight with the rest of the flock. A lot of the Pecs returned but Phil is currently driving around trying to relocate the rest of the flock. Also present were 6-700 American Golden-Plovers.
