Greetings,
With all the fluctuations in weather, we're getting exciting birds.
Yesterday we spotted a pine warbler on the deck among the pine
siskins. A beautiful male ruby crowned kinglet appeared in the wild
rose bush. RB Nuthatches are coming in for the sunflower seeds by the
kitchen window. We also celebrated the return of the Pileated
Woodpecker to it's favorite tree. Downy Woodpeckers are flashing
their red feathers and chasing about the Ash trees near the creek.
Although early, I've also put up a humming bird feeder hoping that
the warming trend they're forecasting will a few into Wakeman.
Happy Earth Day
Happy Birding
Doug and Dorothy
