Just got a call from Troy Shively, who had ~2000 Am. golden-plovers in
northern Marion County, just across from the middle of the three big
impoundments along T-68 (the subdivisions of Pond 27). If you've never
looked into a field and seen the whole thing start to ripple, then turn
into thousands of birds, this is your chance. I saw ~5000 in this same
field some years ago.
