Hello All,
Saturday, April 25, 2009 10:25 a.m.
Just reporting a Black Vulture seen from the car driving E on Highway
2 near Sandusky. It's white primaries were clearly visible from the
roadway.
That same day I saw the same GREAT movements of Broad-winged Hawks.
They were flowing by in a stream. Within 15 minutes we saw about 20.
At the sandbar by Johnson's Island there were large groups of terns,
both Caspian (+-50) and Forster's (+-20) (there may have been Common
Terns also).
Good birding,
H.Cleb.
