I'm taking ornithology at OSU this quarter and took a trip to the Wa
I'm taking ornithology at OSU this quarter and took a trip to the Waterman Field Complex on west campus.
Indigo bunting (3 males, maybe a female)
rose breasted grosbeak (2M 1F)
blue grey gnatcatchers- many
carolina chickadee- many
nashville wabler
blk &wht warbler
yellow rumped warbler
red bellied woodpecker
downy woodpecker
red tailed hawk (and nest)
scarlet tanager
common yellowthroat
other common species (american crow, am. robin, GBH, etc)
this weekend I saw a pair of blue-winged teal at Chase bank off Sancus and Lazelle roads (an odd but good place to bird). Last weekend saw a pair of coots.
