Greetings.

I did get some shots of a Prothonotary yesterday. I put a couple here:http://s153.photobucket.com/albums/s226/sjlarue/Birds/

The first is a watercolor that I made of a of a shot that came out a little soft. I have found that the softer shots seem to work better for watercolor. The second is a side light shot.

In addition to the Cuckoo, the Osprey and the Prothonotarys mentioned in Charlie's Post, while there I also saw some Yellow Rumped, and Palm warblers. A dozen Blue Gray Gnatcatchers, a pair of Orioles, and a pair of Kingbirds finish out the short list.

Happy Birding and God Bless

And God said, "Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky."
