Hi Everyone,

I had to go to downtown Cleveland for a few hours this morning, so on the
war I took a quick detour into Lakeview to see if the Common Loon is still
there in the Wade Chapel pond‹it is! (some would say there were two
loons‹one in the pond and one behind the wheel‹but that¹s another story.
Maybe the Brits are right to call the bird a Diver...)

About 1 PM at Erie Street Cemetery, things were pretty quiet. Still there
were a few birds of note, though nary a warbler. Beyond the expected
American Robins, European Starlings, Northern Flickers and House Sparrows, I
had:

Song Sparrow (1 or 2)
Dark-eyed Junco (2)
White-throated Sparrow (lots, especially at the eastern end‹a few singing)
House Wren (1)
Gray Catbird (2 or 3)
Hermit Thrush (2)
Wood Thrush (1)
Brown Thrasher (1)

Best wishes,

Steve Cagan

Cuyahoga County
