Ohio Birders,

The following was posted to rarebird.org late this afternoon:

"Now I know that this is a real rarity for this area, but...

On leaving Oak Openings a little after 3:00pm today at the intersection of 295 and Wilkins, was what could be nothing else but a Mountain Bluebird. It was sky blue above, lighter blue breast, no rufous at all, white under belly and thin black bill. He was on the east side of Wilkins in the triangular area formed by Wilkins, Sager and Maumee Western Rd, near the stop sign where Wlikins curves to 295. He was quite visible as he flew from the small tree to each of the dead flower heads. If only I had my camera.

-Pat P."

This area is just west of the Toledo Express Airport. Any help from out-of-area birders in relocating it would be much appreciated.

Please call me directly if you relocate it tomorrow. My number is 419-367-1094.

Good luck, and thanks.
