I'm sorry for the late report, but I talked to a birding/Biology teacher friend of mine today and he said that on Saturday he observed a single Sandhill Crane over at Big Island for about a half of an hour. It landed and stayed over at the marsh area right by the old dump. He was able to observe it for about a half of an hour before it flew off heading north.

See you out there

Steve
