In my own backyard, two fox sparrows were scratching for seed along
with one
white throated sparrow. One occasionally managed a half hearted song
during a lull
in the snow showers.

Three pine siskins are still coming to the thistle feeders.

15 wild turkeys showed up together today.....the flock of 40 plus
started breaking up
a few weeks ago and usually only two or three birds show up at once.

During a quick, windy and snowy walk at Frohring around 2:00, I saw a
small flock of american pipits feeding
along the edges of the wet meadow.
