Lake Medina: Common Loon (1), Horned Grebe (12), Ruddy Duck (80)
wetland east of Wellington on S.R. 18: Greater Yellowlegs (4), Pectoral Sandpiper (22), Common Snipe (3); all of the shovelers of a couple weeks ago have moved out, and the water level is dropping fast - definitely worth checking for shorebirds in the near future
Wellington Reservoir: RED-THROATED LOON (1), Horned Grebe (30), Northern Shoveler (25); still over a thousand ducks present here - I didn't see the Red-necked Grebe, but Emil Bacik reported its presence this morning - if it's anything like the last bird that was present here it dives quite frequently and I made just one quick scan
Oberlin Reservoir: nothing special
Still searching for my FOS Rock Martins...
Good birding -
