Julie Karlson, Larry Jeanblanc, and I drove to Lucas County to see the
bluebird this afternoon. We were there between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. It
perched on the airport fence most of the time. I would drop down to the
ground periodically but then returned to the fence.

We also stopped in Wood County at Cygnet Road and Range Line Road to
look for the Western Meadowlark. After about a half hour it flew up to
the power line along Cygnet Road east of the intersection and started
singing. We also saw some Lapland Longspurs fly over while we were
there.
