Not that I like carnage, but anything that helps control house sparrow populations is good in my book. :3

Subject: [Ohio-birds] Grackle question

A friend just called me and said he and his wife, both experienced birders, witnessed this afternoon, a grackle take a live house sparrow the same way a Cooper's hawk would or at least on the wing. He said a while later, the bird was back trying again. Do grackles feed birds to their young in the nest or fledglings.
