There was a modest movement today, but an adult red-necked grebe made it all
worthwhile. the grebe was about 100 yards offshore floating west.

Songbird movement was pretty slow today with about 30 flickers and scattered
small flocks of blackbirds and occasional swallows. There were very few
warblers. Later in the afternoon there were occasional flocks of gulls
flying west. A first cycle GLAUCOUS GULL was of interest.
