A walk in the swamp above the Mosquito Creek refuge today yielded a pair of Yellow-breasted
Chat. Definitely a highlight of the day. Other birds included:

Bobolinks
Bald Eagles 1 adult 1 juvenile
Northern Harrier male
Red-tailed Hawks pair
Blue-winged Warbler
Common Yellow-throat
Yellow Warblers.... scads of them
Gray Catbirds
Purple Finch
Green Heron 1 in a tree
Eastern Kingbird pair
Red-headed Woodpecker

Our weather is a bit suspect but all in all a good day in N.E. Ohio.
