I was able to spend a few hours around this MetroPark southeast of Columbus, dodging showers in the morning. Not surprisingly, water levels here are quite high, but there is a little shorebird habitat nonetheless. Unfortunately, the shorebirds were few. There was a bit of a fallout in the morning, and I had good migrant diversity at Portman Park just north of the Ponds. Notables included:

Great Blue Herons - rookeries at both Ellis Pond and Teal Pond are in full swing, and new nests are in the dying treeline at Arrowhead Marsh. GBH are becoming so common here that the State may have to implement a culling program! :-)

Great Egrets - 1 was at Ellis Pond and another was at Teal Pond

Shorebirds - small #s:

Osprey - 1 fished while another sat in the nest on the platform at Arrowhead Marsh. The platform at Ellis Pond, however, had no activity

Flycatchers - 6 species at Portman early: Pewee, Phoebe, Acadian, Willow, Gr.Crested, E.Kingbird

Swallows - a few Banks were consorting with a milling flock of Barn & Tree over Mallard Marsh

Vireos - lots of Warbling Vireos at every spot, plus a few Red-eyed at Portman

Thrushes - a few Swainson's were lurking in the forest patches at Portman

Mimids - many Catbirds singing & squabbling at all stops, but no Mockers noted

Cedar Waxwings - sizeable flocks of 20-30 birds were at Portmann and flyovers at Teal Pond

Warblers - 10 species, none common except Yellow (17+); also had Parula, Nashville, Black-thr.Green (3), yellow-throated, Blackburnian, Chesnut-sided (3+), Magnolia (4+), Blackpoll (2), ComYellowthroats

Sparrows - lots of Song, Chipping, and Field sparrows; no White-throats or White-crowns, which is unusual here

Icterids - tons of Redwings & grackles, along with a scattering of cowbirds. Singing Baltimore Orioles at Portman and Ellis Pond; singing Orchard Orioles at Portman and Mallard Marsh. Meadowlark at Ellis P.

Finches - Goldfinches widespread and abundant; joined at Portman by yet another late Pine Siskin.
