This morning I managed to find a break between storms and walked the
Sycamore Plains Trail at Prairie Oaks MP (west of Columbus). Not great
numbers of anything except Red-eyed Vireos and House Wrens, but I did get a
decent variety of warblers:

Yellow Warbler (3)
Common Yellowthroat (several heard)
American Redstart (3)
Northern Parula (4)
Yellow-throated Warbler (1 heard)
Blackpoll Warbler (2 males)
Bay-breasted Warbler (1 male)
Magnolia Warbler (2 males, 1 female)
Ovenbird (1)
Chestnut-sided Warbler (3 males)
 Black-throated Blue Warbler (1, female)

Also saw 2 Yellow-throated Vireos, 2 pewees, an Acadian Flycatcher, a
Swainson's Thrush, 3 Baltimore Orioles, and 2 Rose-breasted Grosbeaks.

That trail is extremely muddy, the kind of mud that just cakes on the bottom
of your shoes until it is inches thick. The habitat out there is fantastic,
seems like it would attract more birds than I ever seem to see there. I did
run into a feral cat near the trail in the woods, I wonder if that's at
least partly why there aren't more birds around... those animals make my
blood boil.
