I'm writing as the Ohio-birds listowner, i.e. the guy who deals with all
the administrative stuff that providing this mailing list entails.

We've had a couple of threads recently which have kicked up some dust.
The cormorants thread, while controversial, was specifically about Ohio
birds, and was polite and reasonable on all sides. No problem there.

But we've also had a personal, and unprovoked, attack. That's very
different. I've dealt with that situation, I hope, and trust that it
won't be repeated.

Thanks to everyone who contributes to our online birding community.

We now return you to your birding discussions . . .
