I drove past the pond twice this evening and did not see the loon. If
it was diving I may have missed it. Hopefully it was finally able to
leave now. I did see
the fishing line still so they either had not removed it all or put
it back up. Too bad the bird was held up on its journey to the
breeding grounds. It was in full breeding plumage.
