Thanks to all for their attentions to various loons. I learned from the
experiences of others. It's gratifying to know these unlucky creatures
have gotten a new lease on life.  Even more importantly, some wider
understanding of a species and its adaptations has been shared by many,
and this is one of the highest uses of this list, it seems to me.
