This morning I had around 1 hour to bird before moving on with the day.Parked
at the Ira Road lot in C.V.N.P. and walked north a short distance. Not as
far as the marsh boardwalk.

Whilst my bird books all state Yellow-throated Vireos are fairly numerous in
summer, this was a lifer for me. Yippee!
I saw 3 for sure, one toting some sort of seeds in it's beak (bill?).

Next pulled into the Kendall Lake parking lot (Kendall Road) to check for
shorebirds as the lake is nearly completely drained. Saw a great egret, but
ended up focusing on turtles, etc. Lest anyone want to check it out, there
certainly is a lot of mud.

Renee
