Merlin: Casual at best at this time of year Evan Keisel observed one
female at Pickerington Ponds on the 20th.

Whimbrel: John Pogacnik reported that 43 flew by his house in Perry on
the 21st. Dave Collopy observed one fly-by the beach at Magee Marsh on
the 22nd.

Western Sandpiper: Craig Holt studied one at Conneaut harbor on the
26th.

RUFF: One was spotted in Pond 2A at Ottawa NWR on the 22nd.

Laughing Gull: Rick Asamoto observed one at the Barrett Paving gravel
pit in West Carrollton on the 25th.

Olive-sided Flycatcher: Chris Knoll reported at least one was sighted
along the boardwalk at Magee Marsh on the 28th.

Yellow-bellied Flycatcher: Ben Morrison reported that 10 were seen along
the Magee Marsh boardwalk on the 21st. Rob Thorn observed one at the
intersection of Broadview and Goodale in Grandview on the 25th. Rob
Thorn heard one singing at Innis Park on the 26th. Chris Knoll reported
at least one was sighted along the boardwalk at Magee Marsh on the 28th.


Alder Flycatcher: John Pogacnik had one in his yard in Perry on the
21st. Rick Nirschl observed one or more along the boardwalk at Magee
Marsh on the 27th. Chris Knoll reported at least one was sighted along
the boardwalk at Magee Marsh on the 28th.

SCISSOR-TAILED FLYCATCHER: Jim McCormac reported that one was seen at
Crown City WA on the 20th. It was near the intersection of T-139A and
T-213. The WA straddles Gallia/Lawrence Counties.

Bell's Vireo: Neill Cade saw two copulating at the Kilby Rd Gravel Pits
in Hamilton County on the 25th. Rob Lowry observed one was along the
Heritage Trail pathway in Hilliard on the 27th. To find this bird enter
the area at 4675 Cosgray Rd and park near the "Bradley Station" train
replica. Enter the trail through the break in shrubs and trees near the
station. Turn right along the asphalt path and go to the area with a
white sign that reads "P.C.C.", "630", and "St. L.". Search this area.

Golden-winged Warbler: John Pogacnik reported that one female was seen
near his home in Perry on the 21st. Bruce Simpson heard one along
Atkinson Rd in Zaleski SF on the 25th.

KIRTLAND'S WARBLER: Ben Morrison reported that one was seen near #31 on
the Magee Marsh boardwalk on the 21st.

Connecticut Warbler: John Pogacnik reported that one was near his home
in Perry on the 21st. Ben Morrison observed one near the overflow
parking area at Magee Marsh on the 21st. Dave Horn saw one at Northmoor
Park just south of the parking lot on the 25th. Rick Nirschl observed
two at the west end of the Magee Marsh boardwalk on the 27th. Phil Chaon
reported that five were at the BSBO Navarre Banding Station on the 27th.


Western Meadowlark: Doug and Micki Dunakin heard one singing at the
Thomas Wetlands along TR-61 near Antwerp on the 23rd. Bruce Simpson
reported that one was seen at Blendon Woods MP.
