Hello everyone,

Just had a call from the Observatory's songbird banding station located
roughly 5 miles east of Magee Marsh/Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge. Our
banders are reporting fall-out conditions this morning, with 12 species of
warblers recorded in the first round of net checks. As Kenn Kaufman predicted
on his _http://www.bsbo.org/birding/_ (http://www.bsbo.org/birding/) this
weekend is shaping up to offer some great birding. If you have sick days
left at work -- this might be a good time to use some up and get yourself to
the Lake Erie Marsh Region!

Kenn's Best Bets for Birding also has great information on lodging and
food in the area. All businesses featured on these birding pages (and on the
left side bar of the BSBO website) support the Observatory's work through
our BSBO Business Alliance. If you do patronize one of these
establishments, please help us out by mentioning that BSBO sent you. It helps to
reinforce all the $$ that birders bring to the local economy, and helps us build
great support for habitat conservation.

For all the latest updates on migration, and tons of opportunities for
birders this spring, visit our online resources at: _http://www.bsbobird.org/_

Remember...
Sometimes you just gotta go birding!
