Red-throated Loon:  Interesting was a report from two seperate observers of bird at Pleasant Hill Lake, Ashland Co 28 May (fide Bobolink-area RBA).

White-rumped Sandpiper:  Mark Vass reported three, and Craig Holt one, at the Conneaut sandspit on 30 May.  Emil Bacik had two at Willow Point WA, Erie Co. (date not given).

Chuck-will’s-widow:  Two birds were heard singing along Waggoner Riffle Rd. in Adams 30 May (Gabe Leidy).  They were near a barn and the address number 3223.

Olive-sided Flycatcher: One was at Ottawa NWR 29 May, per Chris Knoll.  A bird was in John Pogacnik’s North Perry, Lake Co. yard 31 May. 

Bell’s Vireo:  A pair at Kilby Rd. Gravel Pits in Hamilton Co. was reported as recently as 31 May, by Neill Cade and Ed Groneman.  

Connecticut Warbler: Kenn Kaufmann reported that one was banded at Navarre Marsh 29 May.  John Pogacnik had a yard bird in North Perry, Lake Co 31 May.

Lark Sparrow: Bird continue to be seen at Langley Hills (?), fide Bobolink-area RBA.

Clay-colored Sparrow: A potential breeder continues to be seen north of Walnut Creek,  Holmes Co, as of 2 June.  This bird is on private property; if you would like to see it, call the Bobolink-area RBA at 330-763-5119, and leave your contact info at the end of the recording.  A probable late migrant was observed by Chris Knoll and company at the eastern/”old” parking area at Ottawa NWR, 29 May.  

Blue Grosbeak: Tom Kemp discovered a singing male on Tuller Road in Wood Co, 30 May.  Mark Gilsdorf reported a male at Armleder Park near Cincinnati on 3 June.  It was “in the shrubby patch, east of the north pond.”  Multiple observers have also been seeing birds at Kilby Rd. Gravel Pits in Hamilton Co (Neill Cade, Jonathan Frodge, Ed Groneman).  Birds continue to be seen at Langley Hills (?), fide the Bobolink-area RBA.  A pair seen was along the entrance road to the Sippo Water Treatment Facility, in the Charlie’s Pond area, Pickaway Co. 31 May (Rob Lowry).  

Yellow-headed Blackbird: Brian Zwiebel passed along a second-hand report of a bird along the Metzger Marsh WA causeway, recently.  In conjunction with other reports coming from this area at the end of May, it appears that summering Yellow-headeds may have returned to this location for the first time in some years.  Brian also reported a bit less chasable bird - one dead on the roadside along Rt. 2, just east of Camp Perry.
